The 3rd symbIoTe plenary meeting took place from 6 to 8th July at AIT in Vienna. 44 participants of the project met in Vienna to discuss a broad range of topics, covering details of the federated architecture, the use cases to be addressed as well as the underlying business and innovation models.

symbIoTe is ready to open the doors to LoRa™, a new and efficient radio technology based on Semtech™ transceiver and concentrator ICs. Unidata, a symbIoTe partner, has recently joined the LoRa™ Alliance, an open and non-profit association working towards the diffusion of the LoRa™ protocol.
